Pre-U Seminar 07

A very good time to reminisce over the Pre-U Sem.=)

Orientation

We had a morning of briefing and icebreaking sessions a week before the camp. It was very awkward for me as i felt really oolllldd....(until i met Jiabao ah ma). The first person i engaged a conversation with was Chuan. He was digusting! We were gathered at the auditorium at NTU and sat down to munch on some finger food. He picked up what he dropped and continue eating as if i didnt saw and i was like AAHHHH!!! dirty dirty~ eek. But he went really calmly, "heehee, MJC ppl are all very dirty. The food is clean lar! Don't worry.. You want?" aRrgh-.- nxt time Chuan offers u food, take it at ur own risk! And this bad habit carried on throughout the 5days camp; if anyone elses noticed.

But thanks to him, i warmed up and returned to sweet 16**
He asked me about SHE and i was like errr... OH! hmmm... Eh~ and i was asking him what was he intending to do after graduation. Which occupation you see yourself engaging in. blah blah. I think i bored him.

Day1

Big thanks to MrThong, MsLina, MrMartin and MrGuru who guided was wholeheartedly for this seminar. We had a bus that chartered us all the way from NYPcampus to NTU. The closer we got the more the butterflies fought within. We dragged our barangbarangs to the reception and got our envelopes with our room key. Much anticipation to how the hostel would be like, and.... My room was directly beside the toilet! 13-64-06-1288. (buy toto)

Evidence!!~

Imagine the noises and smell i survived the 5days with~ lols. The icebreaking sessions was fun. Felt so like secondary sch and looked so much like one too. MrThong,MsLina and MrGuru went looking all over the campus to look for us individually to send us breakfast. *touched
Although the room was dusty, smelly and lok kok, it was condusive and packaged all the necessities.

Day 3

It was a day full on anxiety for the 24 of us from NYP as it was our presentation day!
Blessed with the opportunity, Paul Me Darren rehearsed with KokHien and Velda the night before for this important day. Everything went on well but rehearsal differs tremedously from the actual day. The jitterbugs crawled all over me and i was shivering... Gosh~Nervous!!!! Paul did a great job on the Q&A panel and Darren was the eyecandy. It was a great exposure for all of us. The research team and the mulitmedia team did a fanastic job and all of us benefited greatly.

The teachers came from school to give us moral support and ThongThong bought us lollipop. Best teddy on earth!

> The panel discussion session was a nappy session for all of us. Jiabao right!~ ;)
Shuan really need to change a sleeping posture before he breaks his neck!!

Day 4

/The istana day!
/Good food.

/Sang songs on the bus.

/Cracked jokes.

/Dominic tore his shoes.

/We danced on the lawn.

/Shook hands 3times with MrP.

Day5

The power of polytechnics as we all come together as 1.

With alot of fooooooooooodd....
